The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-5619 Display Breadcrumbs Across Retail Screens
For more consistency and ease of navigation, we have added breadcrumbs to several additional screens in Heartland Retail. With this option, users can easily navigate back to main pages after viewing an individual item or record, such as returning to the Price Lists page after viewing an individual invoice as pictured in the example below.

HRTL-4765 Fixed ‘Switch to Return’ Removal Reason Prompt Behavior
In previous versions, if a cashier accidentally added an item to a sale and then switched to return, the POS would sometimes erroneously prompt them to choose a removal reason but did not allow them to close the prompt and proceed with the transaction. This occurred when the cashier manually entered a value in the QTY field. With this release, the prompt goes away after the cashier makes a selection, and they can then proceed with the transaction as needed.
HRTL-5952 Fixed Inactive Station and Drawer Issue
In previous versions, inactive stations and drawers did not display on their respective tabs on the Locations page when users selected Include Inactive. In addition, when viewing the Daily Summary, inactive stations were included in the Station dropdown.
With this release, the Stations and Drawers tab display active items by default and, when users select Include Inactive, they display the inactive items in italics as read-only.
As well, the Station dropdown in the Daily Summary lists only active stations as expected.
HRTL-6106 Fixed Issue Viewing Saved Reports for Limited Role
In previous versions, users with certain limited roles assigned were sometimes unable to view saved reports containing items in transit unless they were also set up with admin permissions. When they attempted to do so, the POS displayed an error and did not display the report. With this release, such users are able to view saved reports containing items in transit as expected.
HRTL-6111 Fixed Search by Item Number Issue on Invoice Screen
In previous versions, if a cashier attempted to add an item to an invoice using the search function and the item number, the POS displayed incorrect search results. With this release, the POS handles searches by item number correctly as expected.
HRTL-6261 Fixed Pop-Up Calendar Behavior in Reporting
In previous versions, when changing months in the date selector of the reporting tool, the pop-up calendar would sometimes abruptly change position on the screen, making it difficult for users to select desired date ranges. With this release, the calendar maintains a consistent position on the screen as expected.
