What’s New
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
FORT-233 Add Return and No Sale Reason Codes to Reporting
With this release, we have added the option to include reason codes for returns and no sale transactions.
Please note that you must have reason codes defined and enforced in order to use this reporting option.
HRTL-1809 Corrected ‘Print & Clear’ Behavior in In-Store Replenishment
In previous versions, if you selected Print & Clear in the In-Store Replenishment option of Inventory, it would revert back to a date earlier than the designated Sold Since Date. With this release, it displays inventory as expected using the correct date.
HRTL-5740 Add ‘Masked Account’ & Authorization Code’ to Payments Report Options
To simplify reconciliation of card transactions, you can now include additional transaction detail in reports, including masked account data (four asterisks followed by the last four digits of the credit card) and authorization codes.
Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-5740 Fixed Price Disappearing When Adding Primary Vendor
In previous versions, if you added a vendor to an existing item and designated it as primary, the item’s price would disappear. With this release, the POS retains item prices during this process as expected.
HRTL-5850 / HRTL-5903 Fixed Issue Updating Grid Dimensions
In previous versions, if you attempted to add or update a grid dimension (such as colors or sizes), the system sometimes encountered an internal error and did not save the new dimension. With this release, the system saves these grid dimensions as expected.
HRTL-5905 Fixed ‘Remove Coupon’ Behavior on Completed Sales
With this release, the Remove Coupon button no longer displays on the screen after completing a sale, whether it be a regular ticket/invoice, or a layaway. In cases where a ticket was open on multiple tabs, if you complete the sale on one tab and then view the other open tab, unless you refresh, the Remove Coupon button is still displayed. If you select this button, the POS will display a message informing you that the coupon can’t be edited since the sale has already been completed.
HRTL-5918 Fixed Behavior When Deleting Promotions
In previous versions, if you attempted to delete an ongoing or deleted promotion that was linked to sales, the POS would not delete the promotion, but it gave no indication as to why. With this release, in such scenarios, the POS displays a message indicating that the promotion is attached to sales and cannot be deleted.
HRTL-5949 Fixed Issue Adding New Stations on iPad
In previous versions, if you attempted to add a new station using an iPad, after selecting New from the Stations tab, the POS displayed an unfamiliar version of the modal. After setting the Cash Drawer toggle, when you selected Save, the POS would display a toast message indicating there was an error saving the station. With this release, the POS displays the correct modal and saves the station as expected.
HRTL-6015 Fixed BigCommerce Order Sync Issue
In previous versions, if you updated an item in BigCommerce and then synced down to the POS, the orders in POS sometimes failed to reflect the item changes. With this release, these updates are picked up and reflected as expected during syncs.
HRTL-6083 Fixed Issue with Applying Automatic Promotions
In previous versions, the POS sometimes failed to apply automatic promotions to qualified customers as defined in the POS. In these instances, merchants had to make manual adjustments to give the promotions to the customer. With this release, the POS applies these promotions automatically as expected.
HRTL-6191 Fixed Complete Ticket Behavior when Customer is Required
In previous versions, if you enabled the Require Customer to complete ticket setting and then attempted to complete a ticket without having added a customer, the POS would display a toast message indicated that customer is required, but it would also display the Place on hold / Void prompt. With this release, the POS displays only the toast message as expected.
HRTL-6380 Fixed Issue with Return Reason Code Prompt Not Displaying
In previous versions, the Point of Sale did not display the reason code prompt during returns when configured to do so. In these instances, merchants had configured reason codes and enabled the Accept Reason Codes for return setting. With this release, the Point of Sale displays the prompt as expected.
HRTL-6439 Fixed Sync Issue for Grids with 100+ Item Variants
In previous versions, if you attempted to push grids to BigCommerce containing more than 100 linked item variants, items after the first 100 would be deleted. With this release, all item variants are successfully synced during the push as expected.
