Enhancements
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-1006 – Send Tracking Numbers to Shopify
Heartland Retail can now automatically send tracking information to Shopify. To take advantage of this feature, simply enable the Integrated Shipping feature flag via EasyPost. Heartland Retail will then obtain a tracking number for each label when it is created, and will send this information to Shopify.
Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-845 – Fixed Issue with PAX Signature Capture Not Printing
In previous releases, Heartland Retail recognized only PNG files when processing and printing signature captures. Since PAX devices save signature captures as SVG files, the program did not recognize the file type and, as a result, did not print the signature on receipts. With this release, Heartland Retail recognizes SVG files and prints the associated signatures as expected.
HRTL-897 – Improved PAX Signature Capture Upload to Portico
In previous releases, when processing credit card transactions on PAX terminals with signature capture enabled, and via Heartland processing, the process was for the signature to upload to the Portico before the transaction result was returned to the POS. In some instances, if communication with the Portico failed or timed out, the POS did not receive transaction results. With this release, transaction results are returned to the POS, regardless of the signature upload status.
HRTL-1005 – Fixed Quantity Issue with Free Item Promo
In previous releases, if a cashier added an item to a ticket that was eligible for a ‘Free Promo’, then increased the quantity to two, the ‘Free Item’ promo would be added for one of the items. If the cashier then added another of the same item to the ticket, the previous quantity was reduced by one. With this release, the quantity remains intact, even after adding more of the same item.
