Overview
Heartland Retail is pleased to announce that the addition of training videos has been integrated directly within Heartland Retail. This document will serve as a step-by-step guide on how to access these new videos within the system.

Accessing Intercom
Before being able to view training videos, the users must first ensure that they have access to the Intercom integration. You can easily verify this by looking for the icon at the top right corner of the screen. Users with access will see a green box with a question mark next to their name. Please refer to the image below for reference:
If you do not see this icon, please reach out to support at 833-844-4767. Select option 1 for tech support, then option 2 for retail. You can also reach our team by email at hretailsupport@heartland.us to have them adjust the integration.
Important note for internal employees: sradmin accounts will NOT have access to the Intercom integration, regardless of feature flag status.
If the icon is present, please continue with the next steps.
Click the green question mark icon next to the user's name. This will open the integration in the bottom right corner. This window will house numerous features, including messages from the point of sale, live support, and additional help articles in our system. To access the videos, please click Search for Help as referenced below:
This will then open up all available articles within the integration as referenced below:
As displayed in the image above, the Training collection of articles will appear first. Please click the highlighted section to access the complete collection of training videos. Once inside the training collection, you should notice numerous categories of training videos found within this tab. Each of these sections is clearly defined as referenced below:
To access the video, simply click the chosen video, and the screen below will appear:
Press play on the video. The training video will start, allowing you to interact with the system while also watching the video.
To proceed to the next video in the series, click the red box below the video. These options to continue will move the user in an intentional direction.
