What’s New
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
Mobile App
HMMC-9395 Implement Hourly Sales Notifications
You can now receive hourly sales notifications for your store via the mobile app. To enable these notifications, select Hourly Sales from the Notification settings page.
On the page that opens, slide the toggle to the on position and tap the check icon in the upper right corner to save. Once enabled, the mobile app will display notifications of sales each hour within the parameters of the stores operating hours.
HMMC-9398 Implement Onboarding Tutorials for New Users
So that new users can easily familiarize themselves with the mobile app, we have implemented a five-slide tutorial that automatically displays when a new user logs into the app for the first time. These slides highlight the features and functionalities of the following pages:
- Manager Logbook module
- LIVE module
- Key Stats module
- Notifications module
- Dashboard module
Users can either tap Next/Previous to move forward or backward through the slides, or they can select Skip All to exit from the tutorial. The final slide includes a Close button to end the tutorial.
HMMC-9514 Enhance Help Module Functionality
With this release, we have renamed the Help and Feedback module to Help Center. From this page, you can report and issue, send feedback, and access the HCM Knowledge Base. As well, we have moved What’s New from the Help page to the Tutorials page.
HMMC-9518 Implement Tutorials Module
So that new users can easily find tutorials and information about new features, we have added Tutorials to the main page of the app. By tapping this option, users can tour the app, see what’s new, access advanced tutorials, as described in HMMC-9528, and rate the app.
HMMC-9528 Implement Advanced Tutorials
This release includes several advanced tutorials, accessible from the Tutorials option on the main page of the app, as described in HMMC-9518. These include:
- Tasks in Manager Logbook
- Notification Settings
- Fraud Detection
- Sales Heat Map
- Dashboard Module
- Events Notification
As with the introductory tutorials, users can either tap Next/Previous to move forward or backward through the slides, or they can select Close All to exit from the tutorial. The final slide includes a Close button to end the tutorial.
HMMC-9530 Implement Option to Rate the App
Users can now rate the app directly from the Help page ty tapping Rate the app.
This will take them to the app’s page in the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.
HMMC-9616 Implement Back Button on ‘What’s New’ Page
So that users can easily return to the previous page from the What’s New page, we have added a Back button to the upper right corner of the page.
HMMC-9657 Implement User Agreement Page
To ensure that users are aware of and agree to HMM polices, we have implemented a User Agreement page that displays for new users upon initial launching of app.
- If you select I Agree, the app will close the agreement and launch the app.
- If you select Cancel, the app will log the user out of the app and will continue to display the agreement popup each time the user logs in, until they accept the terms.
Users can view the agreement at any time from the User Agreement page of the app.
Admin Console
HMMC-9375 Change On/Off Button to Tab in What’s New / Release Notes
For a better user experience, we have changed the on/off toggle on the What’s New / Release Notes page to a tab, allowing users to easily switch between the two options.

Mobile App
HMMC-9680 Fixed ‘No Internet Connection’ Error After Installing App
After installing the app and attempting to log in, some users encountered an error indicating, ‘No internet connection. Please try again later.’ With this release, we have fixed this issue and the app installs correctly and allows users to log in without error.
