US-5922/8395 Certified ‘OptCulture’ and ‘Kangaroo’ Integrations
With this release, merchants can now integrate their Heartland Retail system with OptCulture and Kangaroo Rewards. These powerful loyalty solutions use customer and sales data to create personal marketing campaigns with individualized rewards and communication.

The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-6403 Fixed Issue Uploading Item Image URLs with Commas
In previous versions, Heartland Retail mishandled uploads of item image URLs if they contained commas. In these instances, after attempting to validate the URL, the POS would display an ‘Invalid File’ message and would not process the upload. With this release, such uploads process as expected.
HRTL-7081 Fixed Issue with Duplicated Sales on Reports
In previous versions, some merchants with stores configured to require sales reps in order to complete a ticket encountered duplications on sales reports. In these instances, the reports would include sales amounts attributed to the actual sales rep and then would list these same sales attributed to ‘No Sales Rep’. With this release, reports reflect sales as expected without duplication.
HRTL-7091/7159/7160 Fixed Issue Removing Group Filter
In previous versions, if you removed all groups by selecting the Remove Groups or Clear Filter option in various screens, the group filters remained in place after refreshing the page. This occurred on the following screens:
- Coupons & Promotions
- Reporting Analysis
- Partial Counts
- Edit Tax
With this release, the group filters are removed from these pages as expected.
