Heartland Retail - Shopify First-Party Integration Migration

ATTENTION TO HEARTLAND RETAIL SHOPIFY INTEGRATION USERS:
In order to maintain transparency, Heartland Retail is messaging you to notify you that as of July 1, 2023, Shopify will no longer support the Heartland Retail Integration. This means that your Shopify integration via Heartland will lose functionality and eventually will be completely disconnected. We have tried numerous times to work closely with Shopify to ensure that our customer base is not affected; however, due to upcoming changes within their Terms and Agreements, Shopify will no longer allow 3rd-Party POS applications to remain on their app store. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but this is officially out of our control.
However, we want to assure you that we are prepped with our response, and we are actively working to ensure that you do not lose the benefit of having Heartland Retail connected to your Shopify stores. With that being said, we are proud to highlight an established partnership between Heartland Retail and Hyperspace that will allow you to continue your normal operations within Shopify’s E-commerce Platform. We are certain that Hyperspace will allow our Shopify users to not only remain connected to their Shopify Stores but have an overall better experience. We are excited to announce that with Hyperspace, you will gain access to additional features that will enable you to strengthen your online shopping experience. These features will include:
- Advanced multi-store capabilities
- Split Order handling
- Automated returns
- Flexible data mapping tools
- Order routing by the customer’s address
- Order routing by location with the most stock
- Warehouse prioritization
- Franchise integrations
- Vendor stock integrations for drop-ship capabilities

It’s important to note that Hyperspace will offer their prices based on the number of locations that a merchant has. For further clarification surrounding pricing, please reach out to Hyperspace support at 818-957-8500 or fill out a form here to be contacted via email.
Again, we want to apologize for the inconvenience but we are here to help and support you in any way that we can. With this being said, it's important to note that unless action is taken, the connection you have from Heartland Retail to Shopify is at risk and will lose functionality on July 1, 2023..
If you do decide to continue with Hyperspace’s integration connection, it's important that you take action as soon as possible. We want to ensure that your connection is not severed and by making the change early, you are ensuring that you will have time to adjust, should there be any issues that arise. Should you want to migrate to Hyperspace’s integration, the steps to migrate are as follows:
- Merchants should already have the Hyperspace Application downloaded from this link PRIOR to contacting Hyperspace.
- You will need to contact Hyperspace at one of the following methods:

- Merchants will then work with Hyperspace to set up an online appointment to discuss onboarding.
If you do not wish to continue using Shopify and are not interested in migrating to Hyperspace, please reach out to the Heartland Retail Support Team @ 833-844-4767, Option 1, followed by Option 2, or by email at hretailsupport@heartland.us as soon as possible to remove your e-commerce billing fee. Your Shopify connection will be deprecated on July 1, 2023, and there will be no billing charges associated with the Shopify connection from Heartland after this date.
There will be additional communications that will deploy with your date of migration, as well as any additional information that you may need to be aware of in the coming weeks. We will stay in communication with you during this time, and we want to thank you for being a loyal Heartland Retail Customer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want to assure you that we are actively working to make this transition as seamless as possible for you.
