What’s New
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-9379 Prevention of Simultaneous Access to Tickets at Different Locations for macOS, iOS, and Windows Users
With this release, we have put measures in place to prevent simultaneous access to the same transaction by users at different locations for macOS, iOS, and Windows users. For example, if a user has ticket 123456 open on a station in the Boston location and a user at a station at the Florida location attempts to access that ticket, the POS will display a ‘Station already in use’ message.
Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-5572 Fixed Issue Emailing Excel-Formatted Purchase Orders
In previous versions, if you selected only Excel on the Email Order modal when sending a purchase order, the POS would send the email successfully but it would include a PDF version as well as the Excel version.
With this release, the POS sends only the selected format as expected.
HRTL-7898 Fixed Error When Attempting Returns on Completed Tickets
In previous versions, some merchants were unable to perform returns on completed tickets. In these instances, after clicking the Return button, the POS would display a message reading, Failed to start return.’ With this release, the POS starts the returns as expected and without error.
HRTL-9175 Fixed Layaway Payment Type Issue When Switching Stations
In previous versions, when applying a deposit payment to a layaway, the POS sometimes erroneously displayed the Cash payment type on stations without a cash drawer. This occurred when the user created the layaway on a station with a cash drawer and then switched to a station without a cash drawer before selecting the Add Deposit button. With this release, the POS hides the Cash payment type during such scenarios as expected.
HRTL-9179 Clarified Messages in Analysis Reporting Tool
With this release, we have clarified the messages that appear when generating reports using parameters that are either empty or cannot be executed.
- If the selected parameters are valid but there is no matching data, the POS will say, ‘There is no data available with these parameters.’
- If the selected parameters cannot be executed, the POS will say, ‘The query could not be executed with these parameters. Please check the groups and metrics and try again.’
HRTL-9230 Fixed Issue Saving Item with Custom Field with Group Filter
In previous versions, if you created a Custom Field with a Group filter for an item, the POS would allow you to save the Custom Field but, if you then attempted to save from the Item Detail page, the action was blocked. With this release, you can save changes from the Item Detail page as expected and without error.
HRTL-9247 Fixed QuickBooks Online Sync Issue
Merchants have recently encountered issues with syncing events with their linked QuickBooks Online account. As a result, events are stuck in failed or pending status and attempts to retry the syncing of these items fails. With this release, the sync process behaves as expected.
HRTL-9343 Fixed Behavior When Saving a Grid with Invalid Entries
In previous versions, the POS did not validate grid dimension entries before allowing users to save their changes. In cases where, when creating a new grid or editing an existing grid, a user left a dimension field blank, they were still able to select Save. The POS then failed to save the changes but did not inform the user of the problem. With this release, the POS activates the Save button only after it detects valid data in the dimension fields.
HRTL-9620 Fixed Purchase Order Receipt Behavior
In previous versions, merchants were unable to successfully search for and/or select items to add in the Purchase Order Receipts module.
- When attempting to search or narrow down results by entering a desired value in the search bar, the POS continued to display all items instead of filtering according to search criteria.
- When attempting to add specific items using the checkbox to the left of the items, when selecting the +Add button, the POS disregarded the checkboxes and, instead of adding only the selected items, it added all items.
With this release, the POS handles these requests as expected.
