The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-9328 Add Ability to Print Jewelry Tags with Barcode Labels
To allow merchants to create appropriately sized barcode labels for smaller items such as jewelry, we have added the ability to print 2.2” x 0.5” thermal labels. This option is currently supported for merchants using an iPad with either a Bixolon or Zebra label printer and with Zebra 10010064-R labels.
Labels will print as shown here:
To use this functionality, choose ‘Thermal Jewelry Tags (2.2” x 0.5”)’ from the Select label format dropdown list.
HRTL-9556 Updated SSL Certificate for Heartland Retail Connect
To ensure ongoing his release includes an updated SSL certificate. With this update, we have performed a high-level validation of the Heartland Retail Connect (HRC) app to ensure that existing workflows continue to operate as expected, with a focus on those workflows related to payments. This update was first introduced in the 2023.09.200 release.
Please note: Merchants using HRC must update their HRC version to 2023.09.200 or later before the current SSL certificate expires on 10/23/2023.

HRTL-6757 Fixed BigCommerce Gift Card Balance Sync Issue
In previous versions, some merchants were unable to successfully retrieve and/or redeem gift card balances at their stores for gift cards purchased online via BigCommerce. In these cases, the gift card balance did not sync from BigCommerce to the POS and, as a result, the POS would incorrectly report the gift card balance as zero. With this release, the gift card balance syncs with the POS as expected.
HRTL-7375 Fixed Issue with Ticket-Level Sales Rep on Returns
In previous versions, the system sometimes attributed the incorrect sales rep to return tickets. For instance, sales rep Joe Frank was associated with completed sale ticket. If you created a return on that ticket and assigned sales rep Amos Oz to the return ticket, upon completion of the return, the system would show Joe Frank as the associated sales rep. With this release, the POS retains the correct sales rep for all such transactions as expected.
HRTL-9149 Add Validation of ‘Measurements’ on Item Detail Page
In previous versions, if you input invalid (non-numeric) data in any of the fields on the Measurements tab of the Item Details page, the system would display a ‘Request is not valid’ message but would not give any detail as to the nature of the problem, making it difficult to identify and correct. With this release, the system validates all such and automatically removes non-numeric values upon saving.
HRTL-9200 Fixed Grid Import with Missing Dimension Names
In previous versions, if you performed a grid import containing one or more missing dimension names, the POS would display an undefined error with no specific information as to the source of the problem. With this release, in such instances, the POS displays a message specifying the problem so you can correct it and try again.
HRTL-9425 Fixed Purchase Order Receipts PDF Display Issues
In previous versions, if you selected Export to PDF on the Purchasing | Receipts page, it would sometimes display the PDF in a manner that cut off some of the data from the screen. With this release, the PDF displays in its entirety as expected.
HRTL-9572 Fixed Clear Button on Calendar in iOS
In previous versions, iOS users were unable to use the clear button on the calendar when selecting Start Date and End Date. In these instances, the current date automatically populated in the fields, and they were unable to select alternate dates. With this release, the clear button functions as expected.
HRTL-9578 Fixed Grid Dimension Field Data Issue After Deletion
In previous versions, empty grid dimensions were sometimes automatically populated with data from deleted grid dimensions. For instance, if you had an item with three dimensions where dimensions 1 and 2 had values defined, but dimension 3 had no values defined, if you deleted dimension 2, its values would appear in dimension 3. With this release, the values of the deleted dimension go away with the dimension and any dimensions that previously had no values defined remain as such.
HRTL-9632 Fixed Purchase Order Receipts PDF Print Formatting Issues
In previous versions, if you selected Export to PDF on the Purchasing | Receipts page and then printed the resulting PDF, it would sometimes print in a manner that cut off some of the data from the printout. With this release, the PDF prints in its entirety as expected.
HRTL-9645 Fixed Issue with ‘Never Synced’ Tab Not Populating
In previous versions, some merchants were unable to filter results on their Financial Events to show only Never Synced items. In these instances, when they changed the view from All Transactions to Never Synced, the POS did not display any results. With this release, the POS displays results as expected.
