The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-11403 Update Messaging for Card Read Processing Failures
In previous versions, when a card transaction failed due to a bad read of the card data, the messages that displayed on the POS and Customer-Facing Display (CFD) screens gave no clear indication as to the nature of the failure. Instead, they just noted the failure with the message, ‘RETRY LATER’. With this release, both screens offer more information so users can take appropriate action.
- The POS will display: Failed to process payment. The transaction cannot be completed at this time. The card issuer response is ‘Retry later’.
- The CFD will display: Card issuer is unable to process payment. Transaction needs to be restarted.
With this in place, merchants and cardholders understand that they can and should retry such failed payments immediately.
HRTL-11606 Enhance Point of Sale Settings Modal
With this release, we have enhanced various aspects of the Point of Sale Settings modal so that headings are slightly smaller than the modal title and subheadings are slightly smaller than headings.
As well, we have realigned the Reset Offline Mode Data button. Where previously, it was slightly indented and the text displayed on two lines, it is now aligned with other items along the left side of the modal and the text displays on a single line.
Lastly, the Delete Devices modal accessible from the Reload All Devices option now displays centered in the screen instead of slightly to the left.

The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-10658 Fixed Item Grid Modal Display Issues
We have identified and corrected various issues with the Item Grid modal display as follows:
- The left side of the bar at the top of the Item Grid was cut off, and lacked the rounded corners present on the right side. This now displays in full, with rounded corners on both sides, as expected.
- The Action Bar/Sticky Footer wasn’t fully docked at the bottom as it should. Instead, there was a visible gap between it and the bottom of the modal. It now docks correctly, aligned with the bottom of the modal, as expected.
- The Cancel and Submit buttons within the Action Bar/Sticker Footer appeared oversized in comparison to other buttons within the table. These buttons now display in a smaller size, consistent with the other buttons, as expected.

HRTL-11652 Fixed Issue with Epson TM-T88VI Printer in HRC
In previous versions, some HRC merchants encountered issues with their Epson TM-T88VI printers. In these scenarios, when viewing available printers from the Printer modal in POS Settings, the printer would display incompletely as ‘Epson’ instead of ‘Epson TM-T88VI’. As well, if you attempted to Print Test Receipt using the printer, it would result in an error (‘Unable to parse base64 string’) and would not print. With this release, the printer displays correctly in the Printer modal, and prints test receipts as expected.
