The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-11510 Add Filter & Sort Options to Purchasing Receipts
This release introduces additional filter and sort options when viewing purchasing receipts. Filtering options include status and location, which allow you to narrow the results by one or both criteria. These filters can be accessed via the corresponding dropdown menus.
Along with these filters, we have increased sorting options to now include Status, PO#, and Receiving Location. To sort, simply click the desired heading. Upon sorting, an up/down symbol will display next to the heading to indicate the sort order.
HRTL-11511 Add Filter & Sort Options to Purchasing Returns
As with purchasing receipts, this release introduces additional filter and sort options when viewing purchasing returns. Filtering options include status and location, which allow you to narrow the results by one or both criteria. These filters can be accessed via the corresponding dropdown menus.
Along with these filters, we have increased sorting options to now include Return From Location. To sort, simply click the desired heading. Upon sorting, an up/down symbol will display next to the heading to indicate the sort order.
HRTL-12860 Improve Gateway Timeout Error Format & Content
For a better user experience, we have updated the messages that display on the POS and customer-facing display (CFD) after a gateway timeout error. The new messages are more user-friendly, both in format and wording.
HRTL-13984 Improve Heartland Reader Payment Reconciliation Flow
We have improved the reconciliation flow for Heartland Reader users when a transaction that has successfully processed on the payment device is not acknowledged by the POS. These situations usually happen when the internet is slow and/or when a user refreshes the POS while a payment is in process. With this release, in such instances, transactions not captured by the POS will be automatically reversed on the payment device.

HRTL-12065 Fix Scrolling Behavior When List Modal is Open
In previous versions, if you opened a list modal and attempted to scroll, the scrolling action would also affect the background screen, which made for a poor user experience. With this release, scrolling is active only on the topmost modal as intended.
HRTL-13858 Fix Missing Receipt Error on Customer-Facing Display
In previous versions, when text or email was selected for receipt delivery, if the corresponding contact information (mobile number or email address) was not formatted correctly, the CFD failed to display a message to that effect. Instead, it displayed a thank you message, implying that the receipt delivery was successful. With this release, if the contact information is not formatted correctly, the CFD will display a message indicating as much, allowing you to correct the information before sending the receipt.
HRTL-14025 Fix Heartland Reader Issue During Firmware Update
In previous versions, the firmware update check that runs on the Heartland Reader sometimes caused the app to crash which, in turn, sometimes resulted in failed transactions. With this release, the app continues to run as expected during such checks.
HRTL-14063 Fix ‘Grand Total’ Issue on PDF Report Exports
In previous versions, if you exported a report that compared data for different date spans, the resulting PDF would erroneously display multiple Grand Total lines. We have corrected this, and the PDFs now generate correctly.
HRTL-14148 Fix iOS App Issue When Printing Labels to Bixolon Printer
With this release, we have corrected an issue that sometimes caused the iOS app to crash after attempts to print labels to a Bixolon label printer.
HRTL-14205 Fix ‘Cancel Sync’ Behavior During BigCommerce Sync
In previous versions, if you pressed the Cancel Sync button when pushing item information to BigCommerce, it would sometimes result in the request becoming stuck but the POS displayed no message to inform users of the issue. With this release, the cancel request is handled correctly by the POS and, in cases where it does fail, the POS displays a message to that effect.
HRTL-14219 Fix ‘Select All’ Behavior in Purchasing Receipts
In previous versions, the select all functionality on the purchasing receipts page did not behave as expected. If you checked the box and then selected the option to select all rows across all pages, it would then indicate that all rows were successfully selected. However, after selecting Add Selected Lines to initiate the action, a green toast message indicating ‘Saved’ would display, but none of the selected rows would be added to the receipt. With this release, the select all functionality behaves as expected and all selected rows are added to purchasing receipts.
