What’s New
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-12647 Implement Receipt Notes
This release introduces the option to print notes on receipts using custom field input, as well as reason code detail. This functionality relies on, and behaves according to, the status of various toggles, explained below. For more information, please refer to our Receipt Notes Guide.
Custom Field Receipt Note Options
In order for custom field data to print on receipts, the Sales Transaction group must be assigned to the custom field, and the Print note on receipt toggle at the bottom of the modal must be enabled.
Other Settings
- Editable After Ticket/Invoice Completion: Toggle these settings on if you wish to be able to edit notes after a ticket or invoice has been completed.
- Limit number of characters: Toggle on if you wish to limit the length of notes. Once enabled, the modal will display a Maximum characters allowed field into which you can enter the desired value.
Reason Code Receipt Note Options
We have added the Print Note on Receipt toggle to the following reason code modals as well, allowing you to determine whether or not such actions print on guest receipts:

HRTL-13947 Update ‘Print Ship Transfer’ Modal
This release introduces updates to the secondary Print Ship Transfer modal that displays after you select Print from the initial Print Ship Transfer modal, pictured here:
The new modal includes dropdowns for Packing Slip Destination and Printer Format, both of which require selections before allowing you to print. Once you have made your selections, select Print to start printing.
If you click Print before making the required selections, the system will display an error to that effect. Likewise, upon successfully printing the packing slip or shipping label, the system will display a green toast message indicating success.
Notes about EasyPost:
- For merchants using EasyPost, the Printer Format dropdown will default to Full-Size Printer and will not be editable. We have added an information bubble next to this heading will display an explanation.
- We have also implemented additional dropdowns EasyPost, including Carrier, Package Type, Weight in Pounds, and Service/Rates. The Service/Rates dropdown can be selected only after all other fields are selected, as noted in its information bubble.

The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-13979 Fix Purchase Order Component Display Issue
In previous versions, the purchase order screen on some devices had its components arranged in a manner that caused some of the tables and buttons to display with a nonstandard format. In some cases, buttons were beyond the edges of the modal and, as a result, were inaccessible. We have corrected these issues, and the purchase order screen now displays correctly.
HRTL-14028 Fix Missing Coupon Name on Tickets and Reports
In previous versions, if you applied a coupon to a ticket, although it applied correctly, it sometimes failed to cite the name of the coupon on both the ticket itself and on reports, leaving the merchant with no indication as to the reason for the discount after the fact. With this release, we have addressed this issue and the coupon name is reflected as intended.
HRTL-14220 Fix Validation Error When Duplicating Grid
In previous versions, if you attempted to duplicate a grid but left the Grid Item # blank, instead of auto-assigning a number as intended, the system would display a validation error and would fail to save the new grid. The new version addresses this issue and grids now save as expected.
HRTL-14236 Fix ‘Void Reason’ Dropdown Scroll Behavior
In previous versions, if there were three or more options to choose from, the Void Reason dropdown field was cut short so that it displayed only the first two options with no way to scroll or navigate beyond them. With this release, in such scenarios, the dropdown menu provides access to the full list of options as intended.
HRTL-14245 Fix Issue Adding Items to PO via Search Using Select From Order
In previous versions, if you attempted to add only items matching specific search terms to a PO receipt, the system sometimes mishandled the request. To better illustrate, if you used Select From Order and then entered search terms to narrow results (for example, items matching ‘Matilda Car Coat’), imagine there were four matching results displayed. If you then selected all of the matching items using the top checkbox, after selecting Add to Order, the system would add all items instead of just those displayed. With this release, the system adds only the items matching the search terms as expected.
