Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HR-59557 POS Adds Como Digital Wallet Funds to Customer Accounts Properly
In previous versions, if your location uses the Como loyalty service, the POS may have failed to add Como Digital Wallet funds to a customer’s account. In such cases, location staff was forced to add funds manually to customer accounts. This problem occurred in infrequent cases where the Como service received duplicate request, but failed to optimize them properly. We have corrected this, and the POS now adds Como Digital Wallet funds to earning customers properly.
HR-60193 Datacap Direct No Longer Misreads Transactions as Duplicates
In previous versions, if your location uses Datacap Direct, you may have been unable to process certain transactions. For example, you may have added a menu item to a ticket, then paid the ticket with a credit card. Later, you may have reopened the ticket and voided the item. Later, if you added a different item that had the same price as the voided item, then then tried to pay the ticket with the same credit card, the terminal may have refused to process it. In such cases, the terminal mistakenly treated the second transaction as a duplicate transaction, even though the first transaction was voided.
To correct this, we have modified how the program verifies duplicate transactions, and the POS now processes transactions properly. Therefore, if you purchase an item with a credit card, then void it, then purchase a new item with the same price, the terminal will receive and process the transaction properly.
HR-60300 Labor Summary Report No Longer Lists Negative Values
In previous versions, the labor summary report may have listed negative values that did not accurately reflect the values in staff time punches. In the Admin Console’s Main Menu, click Reports, then click Labor Summary. In the Labor Summary Report screen, the program may have listed negative values. In such cases, the POS failed to record the clock out times properly for certain staff breaks, which resulted in inaccurate values in the Labor Summary Report. We have corrected this, and the Labor Summary Report now reports accurate values, including staff breaks.
HR-62152 Accurate Prices Displayed for Menu Items Weighted per Pound
In previous versions, if your location sells menu items that are weighted per pound and set as miscellaneous items, you may have encountered a problem. In the Admin Console’s Main Menu, click Menu, then click Items. In the Items screen, click New to create a new menu item. In the item’s Settings panel, if you are creating a menu item that will be measured and sold for a fixed price per pound, you can select Weighted per Pound in the Measurement list. Also, if you select the Misc Item check box, the POS will allow you to modify the item’s name and price immediately after you add it to a ticket.
However, in previous versions, if you added a menu item that was weighted per pound and set as a miscellaneous item and then changed its price per pound, the POS may have then displayed the item’s price as “$0.00”. In such cases, regardless of how the price was changed, the POS only displayed the item’s calculated total as $0.00. We have corrected this, and now when you change the price per pound of an item that is weighted per pound, the POS calculates and displays the item’s accurate price.
