The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
GNX-5612 Genius POS supports "Sort Sub Items as Ingredients" setting in display formats
Genius for Restaurants now supports the "Sort Sub Items as ingredients" setting for display formats. In the Admin Console's Main Menu, click Location Setup, then click Display Formats. In the Display Formats screen, select an existing display format. In the display format's settings panel, the Sub Item Sorting list enables you to modify how the POS sorts subitems in kitchen slips and KDS displays. In this list, we have added the Sort Sub Items as Ingredients option. If you select Sort Sub Items as Ingredients, the POS will group and list sub items and ingredients together, below the main item that includes them. If this setting is enabled, the POS will display items, sub items, and ingredients formatted as follows:

GNX-6176 POS prints location's copy of receipt, even when customer selects No Receipt on CFD
In the Admin Console's Main Menu, click Location Setup, then click Rooms. In the Rooms screen, select an existing room. In the room's settings panel, the # Credit Card Receipts list enables you to set the number of receipts that the POS prints when a customer uses a credit card or house account to pay a ticket in this room. Normally, if you select "2" in this list, the POS will print two copies of each receipt (one for the customer and one for the location), unless the customer selects the No Receipt option when finishing a transaction on the CFD. If the customer selects No Receipt, the POS should still print one copy of the receipt for the location.
However, in previous versions, if a customer selected No Receipt on the CFD, the POS may not have printed any copies of the receipt, even when the room was set to print two copies. We have corrected this, and now when a customer selects No Receipt on the CFD when completing a transaction in a room set to print two copies of each credit card receipt, the POS will print one copy of the receipt for the location.
GNX-6369 Closed paid tickets no longer reappearing in POS as "Unpaid" and "Open"
In previous versions, tickets that were paid successfully may have "reappeared" in the POS, two or more days after they were closed, with statuses of Open and Unpaid. In such cases, the POS updated its ticket statuses improperly, sometimes overwriting newer statuses with earlier outdated statuses. We have corrected this, and the POS no longer displays tickets as "Open" or "Unpaid" days after they are paid and closed successfully.
