What’s New
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-15311 Implement Enhanced Default PDF Template
As part of our ongoing gradual enhancements to the PDF generation process, this release includes updates to the default PDF template. As a result, you may notice subtle changes in the formatting of printed items such as:
- Labels
- Receipts
- Printed Reports
Please note that this update will affect only default templates. It will not impact custom templates at this time.
HRTL-15388 Add Coupon Option to Quick Button Groups
You can now create and apply coupons as quick buttons, making it faster to add coupons to a ticket. To get started, go to the Button Groups tab of the POS settings page and select New.
The page that displays will include options to select either Item or Coupon.
If you select Coupon, you can:
- Choose an existing coupon from a dropdown list.
- Optionally assign a parent to the coupon.
- Select a button color.
Once you have your options defined as desired, click Create to add the coupon.
Along with this enhancement, we have added a new Type column to the main Button Groups page, making it easy to discern between coupons and items.
HRTL-15503 Add Quick Button Coupons to POS Screen
So that users can easily apply quick button coupons as described in HRTL-15388, these coupons will display in the POS in the Quick Buttons modal. Once a coupon is selected from the modal, the POS will apply it to the ticket.
HRTL-15509 Add Current Price to Purchase Orders & Receipts
With this release, you can now view and update prices during the purchase order and purchase receipt process. To use this functionality, you must enable the setting in the Purchasing section in the back end.
Once enabled, the POS will display editable prices for all items on purchase orders and receipts under the Current Price heading.
To update a price, select the price field for the desired item and enter the preferred value. To save the new value, press enter or tap/select anywhere outside the field.
