Enhancements
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release. We have divided
the updates by project area.
Mobile App
HMM-38 – Link App Alerts to events that produced them
Description: When alerts are tapped, the program now displays the events that triggered them.
Details: In previous versions, when you tapped a push notification “Alert”, the Mobile Manager
app displayed the Alerts page and did not clearly identify the event that produced the alert. In this release, when you tap an Alert, the app will now display the corresponding event clearly. For example, when you tap an alert related to one or more checks (e.g., voided items, tips exceeding defined percentage, checks being reopened), the app will present you with a list of the associated checks. You can then tap individual checks to view their details. When you exit the list, the app will display the Alerts page. Similarly, when you tap an alert related to labor percentage, the app will display details of the associated time card record and staff member. Again, when you exit, the app will display the Alerts page.
HMM-55/56 – Display metrics up to $99,999,999.99 in Key Stats & Reports
Description: The program now displays values up to $99,999,999.99 without truncating in Key Stats &
Reports.
Details: In previous versions, the mobile app may have truncated the totals in the Key Stats and
Reports screens if they were too long. Consequently, the site's actual total may not have been clearly
visible in these screens. We have corrected this by extending the Totals display. The Key Stats and
Reports screens can now display totals up to $99,999,999.99.
HMM-58 – Make Check Level view in Key Stats collapsible
Description: We have added an arrow button to enable you to collapse or expand Check Level details.
Details: In the mobile app, in the Key Stats screen, we have made the sections in the Check
Level screen collapsible. If you access the Key Stats screen, at the Check Level, all sections display as
expanded. To each section, we have added an arrow button that enable you to collapse or expand the
section. If you tap the arrow in an expanded section, the app will collapse the section, displaying only its
subtotal tax and total. If you tap the arrow on a collapsed section, the app will expand the section,
displaying a list of all of its items.
HMM-63/67 – Exclude $0 price modifiers from Key Stats & Reports averages
Description: We now exclude $0 price modifiers from Key Stats and Reports averages.
Details: In previous versions, the program included all modifiers, including those with $0 price, in
all levels of Key Stats and Reports. In this release, the program will exclude modifiers priced at $0,
resulting in more accurate price averages. However, the program will continue to include ALL modifiers,
regardless of price, in the Check Level view of Key Stats.
HMM-457 – Display Discount Percentages along with Totals in Key Stats
Description: The program now displays discount percentages along with totals for each subcategory
in the drill-down screen of Key Stats.
Details: In previous versions, the drill-down screen for discounts in Key Stats showed only totals
for each of the subcategories. With this release, the drill-down screen now shows the discount
percentages for each of these subcategories alongside the discount totals.
Admin Console
HMM-43 – Allow Admins and Super Admins to Introduce Dealership
Description: Admins and Super Admins can now create new Dealerships.
Details: We have expanded Dealership functionality for Admins and Super Admins to facilitate the
assignment of new dealers to existing clients. With this release, you can now add new dealerships and
create appropriate relationships between entities (dealership, dealer and client) that follow logical rules.
For example, a dealership can have multiple dealers assigned, but a dealer can have only one dealership
assigned.
Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release. We have divided the
updates by project area
Mobile App
HMM-412 – Clarify Voided Discounts
Description: We have improved the way voided discounts are displayed.
Details: In previous versions, the program displayed voided discounts as a negative value, and
without any explanation that it had been voided. With this release, the program displays these voided
discounts correctly as a positive value, and clearly reflects the discount as voided.
HMM-423 – Clarify Labor Push Notification
Description: We have reworded the Labor push notification to eliminate confusion around its meaning.
Details: In previous versions, the Labor push notification for employees still clocked in after a
specified hour read, “Employee is still clocked in after hh:mm.” To more clearly illustrate the cited event,
we have replaced this message with, “Employee clocks out after hh:mm.”
HMM-566 – Ensure that all Active Users can log in without error
Description: We corrected issue that produced false error message when active users attempted to
log in.
Details: In previous versions of the Mobile Manager app, some active users were unable to log in,
and received the message that their email was not found. We have corrected this in the current version
Admin Console
HMM-71 – Remove irrelevant messaging from activation page
Description: The program now displays activation message appropriate to User’s role.
Details: In previous versions, the activation page displayed the same message to all new users,
“You have already activated your account. Please download HMM App, if you haven't yet.” This caused
some confusion since the mobile app is not relevant for Dealer and Admin users. With this in mind, we
have shortened the messaging displayed for such users to, “You have already activated your account.”
HMM-559 – Delay activation of Create button until form is complete
Description: When creating a new user, the program will not activate the Create button until required
fields are completed.
Details: In previous versions of the Admin Console, the Create button was activated too early in
the process of creating a new user. We have corrected this issue so that the button does not activate until
all required fields (First Name, Last Name, Email address, Access Level, and Select Client) have been
assigned values.
HMM-563 – Enable Update button on Store Owners page
Description: We have enabled the Update button on Store Owners page.
Details: In previous versions, the Update button on the Store Owner page of the web console was
disabled. This prevented store owners from updating settings. With this release, the Update button is
enabled.
HMM-564 – Restore function of Profile Page link on Store Owners page
Description: We have repaired the Profile Page link on Store Owners page.
Details: In previous versions, the Profile Page link on the Store Owner page of the web console
did not open the Profile Page. This prevented store owners viewing and editing their profiles. We have
corrected this in the current release.
