Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HR-4546 DoorDash Sorting Item Size Options Properly
In previous versions, the DoorDash menu may not have displayed item size options in the proper sort order. In the Admin Console, in the Items screen, you can create multiple size options for an item and set the sort order in which the size options display in the DoorDash menu. However, in previous versions, the DoorDash service may have displayed size options in the wrong order. We have corrected this, and DoorDash now displays an item’s size options in the order set in the Admin Console.
HR-4899 Enable DoorDash Option in Billings Screen
In previous versions, if you tried to enable the DoorDash Integration option in the Billings screen, the program may not have saved the setting. In the Admin Console’s Main Menu, select an appropriate account, then click Billing. In the Billing screen, select an appropriate location. In the Location’s settings, if you selected the DoorDash Integration check box, then clicked , the program may have failed to save the setting. The program would not have displayed any notification of the problem. It would simply fail to save and enable the setting. We have corrected this, and now when you enable the DoorDash Integration setting in the Billings screen, the program saves the setting appropriately.
HR-4916 “Order Total has Changed” Error for DoorDash Orders
In previous versions, if a customer ordered an item in the DoorDash service and applied a quantity greater than one, the POS may have received the order and displayed an error (“Your order total has changed.”). In such cases, the POS was not calculating the quantities of incoming DoorDash orders properly. We have corrected this, and now when a DoorDash customer orders an item with a quantity higher than one, the POS no longer generates an “order total” error message.
HR-4921 DoorDash Menu Displaying Out-of-Stock Items
In previous versions, the DoorDash service may have displayed out-of-stock items as available and allowed customers to order them. Consequently, the POS may have added such items to a ticket and then displayed an error (“Some of the ingredients in your cart are out of stock. Please remove the following ingredients from your items.”) We have corrected this, and the POS will no longer add out-of-stock items to a ticket. Also, when an item on the DoorDash menu is out of stock, Heartland Restaurant will send an updated stock amount to DoorDash, which will render the item inactive and remove it from the DoorDash menu.
