The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-15429 Fix Behavior When Removing Bundle from Ticket
We have corrected the behavior of the POS when removing a bundle from a ticket when the Require reason when removing item from ticket setting was enabled. Where previously, the POS would fail to perform the operation and would display a message to that effect, it now successfully completes the operation, and the removed bundle items are reflected as such on the screen.
HRTL-15499 Add Vendor to Inventory Adjustment Reporting
With this release, you now have the option to assign a vendor to an inventory adjustment (described below in HRTL-15500), and to report on such vendor assignments by selecting the newly added Vendor Name reporting metric.
Please note:
- The Inventory >> Adjustment >> Vendor Name reporting metric will be available only to users with the appropriate permission.
- Reports generated using this metric will reflect the vendor assigned to each adjustment.
HRTL-15500 Add Vendor Field to Inventory Adjustments
With this release, you now have the option to assign a vendor to an inventory adjustment via the Vendor field on the Adjustment page.
Please note:
- The Vendor Name field will display on the Adjustment screen but is not required.
- Inventory adjustments created automatically from counts are not affected and do not require a vendor.
HRTL-15508 Add Quick Return Option to Purchase Receipts
This release includes a new Return button on purchase receipts that allows you to quickly create a purchase return using the items included in the receipt. The return will automatically use the same vendor and location, and items can be added or removed as needed after it’s created.
Please note:
- The Return button is only visible to users with permission to view or manage returns.
- The Return button is disabled if the selected purchase receipt has no items.

HRTL-11998 Fix ELO Issue with Manually Added Printers
This version addresses a communication issue with manually added Star and Bixolon printers for ELO devices resulting from incorrectly generated URLs. With this release, the system generates correct URLs for manually added printers, and the printers function as expected.
HRTL-14173 Fix POS Settings Display Issue When Printer Name is Too Long
We have fixed an issue that caused the Receipt Printer field in the POS Settings modal to display in a stretched fashion when a selected printer’s name was too long to fit in the field’s normal width. This necessitated scrolling to access some components of the modal, making it difficult to navigate.
With this release, long printer names display in a truncated fashion, thereby ensuring that all components and controls remain accessible without scrolling.
HRTL-14306 Fix Custom Field Display Issue for Custom Payment
We have fixed an issue that caused the custom field for a custom payment type to sometimes display incorrectly. This occurred when switching between two different custom payment types that had different custom fields. For example, assume that payment type 1 has a custom field of ‘text’, and payment type 2 has a custom field of ‘pick list’. If you switched from payment type 1 to payment type 2, instead of displaying payment type 2’s custom field of ‘pick list’, the POS would still display payment type 1’s custom field of ‘text’. With this release, the POS displays the correct custom field information when switching payment types as intended.
HRTL-14415 Fix ‘Unit Cost’ Input Field Issue in Find Modal of Purchase Orders
In previous versions, the input field for Unit Cost on the Find modal for purchase orders sometimes displayed without the lower border. We have addressed this and the field displays correctly as expected.
HRTL-14429 Fix ‘$ Discount’ Verification Behavior in Purchase Orders
In previous versions, if you attempted to enter a $ Discount Type for an item on a purchase order, and entered a dollar amount greater than the item’s cost, the POS would not notify you that the validation had failed, nor would it allow you to save the discount. With this release, the POS displays a message after the failed validation indicating that the cost cannot be negative so that you can make necessary corrections before saving the discount.
HRTL-14464 Fix Reporting Discrepancies for Promotions
We have addressed an issue that caused discrepancies in promotions data when comparing aggregate vs individual totals for the same date range. With this release, promotions data is reflected consistently in both reports as expected.
HRTL-14573 Fix Incorrect Cash Discount When a Partial Card Payment is Present
We have fixed an issue that resulted in incorrect cash discount calculation when a partial card payment was applied to a check before paying out the remainder with cash. With this release, the POS now calculates the cash discount in such scenarios correctly as intended.
HRTL-14663 Fix Cash Discount Display Issue in Coupon Scenario
We have addressed an issue that sometimes caused the cash discount line for a couponed item on a ticket to not display. This occurred if, after returning couponed items from a completed transaction, you then added the items back, again applied the coupon, and completed the transaction using cash. In these instances, the cash discount line for the items would not display unless you updated the quantity from 1 to 2 and then back to 1. With this release, the cash discount line displays as intended.
HRTL-14734 Fix Issue When Viewing Item Image from Gift Receipt Modal
We have fixed an issue that caused item images to display in the background when selected from the Gift Receipt modal. These images now display in the foreground - in front of the Gift Receipt modal - as intended.
HRTL-15149 Program ‘Let Us Know!’ Link to Open in New Tab
To prevent interruption to user flow in the POS, we have updated the behavior when clicking the ‘Let us know!’ link from the Integrations page so that, instead of opening in the existing tab, it opens in a new tab.
HRTL-15150 Fix ‘Learn More’ Link on Gift Card Page
We have corrected the URL linked to the ‘Learn more’ option of the Gift Card page so it takes users to the related webhook support article instead of the Dashboard.
HRTL-15317 Improve List Refresh Behavior After Actions
In previous versions, when working in lists (items, coupons, etc.), changes made to records, such as archiving or deactivating, were not reflected on the page unless you manually refreshed. With this release, the displayed results now update immediately.
HRTL-15734 Fix ‘Free Item’ Discount Behavior After Return
We have addressed an issue that caused free items on tickets to sometimes display incorrectly on tickets when the Combine Line setting is enabled. This occurred after returning an invoice containing a ‘free item’ discount and then adding another sale item to the same return ticket, after which the ‘free item’ would be added as a new item line instead of updating the existing item line. With this release, the ‘free item’ discount correctly updates the existing item line rather than creating a new one.
HRTL-15756 Fix Modal Display Issue When POS Sidebar is Open
In previous versions, if you opened the POS sidebar while in a pending ticket and then selected Void, the modal would display in a manner that did not allow you to confirm or cancel.
We have corrected this behavior and the modal displays as intended.
HRTL-15759 Fix Validation Issues When Creating Quick Coupon
We have identified and corrected the several validation issues when creating a new quick button for a coupon from Settings | POS | Button Groups. After selecting new and then choosing Coupon for type, if you left all fields blank and selected Create, the POS would respond as follows:
- The Name field would display an inline error message reading ‘is not present.’
- The Coupon would not display its dropdown options, nor would there be any visual indication that it was required.
With this release, the Name and Coupon fields behave as follows:
- Both fields display asterisks to indicate their required status.
- If left empty, both fields display an inline error message reading ‘Field cannot be empty.’
HRTL-15833 Enforce Required ‘Custom Field’ in Layaway
This release addresses an issue that sometimes resulted in the POS failing to enforce required custom fields during a layaway transaction. In these scenarios, after adding an item with a required custom field, the POS would display the field as expected, but it did not require input before applying a tender and completing the ticket. With this release, if you attempt to complete such a ticket without filling in the custom field, the POS will display an error to that effect and will not allow you to complete the ticket until you have entered something in the custom field.
HRTL-15851 Fix QuickBooks Online ‘Start Sync’ Button
In recent versions, the Start Sync button on the QuickBooks Online page no longer worked and selecting it had no effect. We have fixed the underlying cause for this behavior and the button once again works as expected.
HRTL-15861 Fix Quick Button Coupon Dropdown Display Issue
In previous versions, the list of coupons displayed in the dropdown for Quick Button coupons was incomplete and included archived coupons. We have corrected this and the list now displays in its entirety and without archived coupons.
HRTL-15863 Fix User Filtering When Adding Users to Location
This release addresses an issue with the way the system displayed users when adding a user to a location. Where previously, the system would not filter out all existing users for the selected location, with this release, it now filters out existing users and shows only users that are not yet part of the selected location.
HRTL-15902 Fix Quick Action ‘Add Vendor’ Search Behavior
In previous versions, the POS sometimes retained data in the Add Vendor modal when creating a new item in POS, even after the modal was closed. Any value entered in the vendor search field, whether valid or invalid, remained saved. If the modal was closed and then reopened, instead of resetting, the search field would be pre-filled with the last entered value, and the vendor list would be filtered accordingly. With this release, the modal behaves as intended, clearing old search criteria upon close, and displaying an empty search field and a complete vendor list upon open.
HRTL-15909 Fix App Response When Manually Changing Daily Summary Date
We have fixed an issue that sometimes caused the app to be blocked if a user attempted to manually change date in the Daily Summary page. The app now validates manually entered dates and continues to run normally after such changes.
