What's New
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-3977 – Clarified Message When Attempting Void After Settlement
In previous versions, if you attempted to void a card transaction after settlement, the POS displayed a ‘Not found’ message, which was unclear. With this release, in these instances, the POS displays a new message reading ‘Failed to Void - Batch already Closed/Settled.”
HRTL-4105 – Option to Manually Clear Devices Cache
Since some app updates involve changes to data structure, we have added an option to manually clear device data.
Using this option clears both the device cache and the device list, thereby ensuring that all old data is erased. Once you have cleared the devices, the app will auto refresh and prompt you to select devices. Please note that this feature is available in both iOS and web versions of Heartland Retail Connect.
HRTL-3730 – Enforce Minimum iOS App Version
With this release, upon launch, the POS verifies that Apple devices are running the current minimum iOS version of the app. If it detects a version that is no longer supported, it will display a message to that effect and will then take the user to the app’s page in the App Store so they can easily update. We currently support versions 6.60 and higher.
Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-3643 – Fixed Incorrect Tax Calculation on Returns
In previous versions, the POS sometimes calculated taxes incorrectly when processing returns. With this release, the POS calculates taxes correctly on returns as expected.
HRTL-3969 – Fixed Change Due Issue When Removing Taxes
In previous versions, if you removed taxes from a ticket and then removed the line items, the POS would erroneously reflect a change due amount on the ticket. With this release, the POS reflects zeroes across the board in such instances as expected.
HRTL-4013 – Fixed Refund Issue on Manually Modified Items with Coupons
In previous versions, if you performed a return of a manually modified item with a coupon adjustment, the POS miscalculated the return amount. With this release, the POS calculates the return amount correctly as expected.
HRTL-4088 – Fixed Color Swatch Upload Issue
In previous versions, merchants using the Custom fields with swatches option were sometimes unable to upload custom color swatches. In these cases, after naming the item, assigning it a group and designating it as a SWATCH, when they attempted to upload an image for the swatch, it failed. With this release, such images upload as expected.
HRTL-4235 – Fixed Dashboard Date Selector Issue
In previous versions, when defining a custom date range on the dashboard, if you selected a date from the end or beginning of a year as both your start and end dates, the end comparison date displayed at the top would incorrectly default to two years previous. With this release, the POS handles the date selections as expected, using one year previous as the comparison date.
HRTL-4294 – Fixed Per Page Component Display Issue When Set to 100
In previous versions, if you selected 100 as your per page component, the button displaying the number partially hid the last digit, making it unclear. With this release, the button displays the number in its entirety as expected.
HRTL-4470 – Enforce Location-Based Prices on Labels from PO Receipts
Previously, for merchants with multiple locations using the Price List feature, labels printed from PO receipts directly to the ZD410 label printer reflected the wrong price. Instead of using the prices associated with the receiving location, it used the Current Price in the Regular/Default Price List. However, if, instead of sending directly to the printer, users chose to print to PDF, the labels displayed the correct price. With this release, the labels print with the correct price for both printed and PDF labels.
