Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-1119 – Corrected Error When Custom Payment Exceeds Ticket Balance
In previous versions, if you applied a custom payment in excess of the ticket balance, the POS displayed a notification that it failed to add the payment, along with an unclear message reading, ‘Payment error’. With this release, so that users understand the source of the problem, in such instances the POS displays a clear explanation, ‘Payments can’t exceed ticket balance’.
HRTL-4232 – Improved Handling of Skipped Items During Inventory Count
With this release, inventory count exports will include a Skipped tab to capture the following:
- Items with counts exceeding the maximum allowed limit of 99,999,999: ‘Line skipped because item count exceeds limitation.’
- Items with inventory tracking disabled: ‘Line skipped because item does not track inventory.’
In cases where there are no such records, the tab will contain the search box, export button, column name, and a full-width line reading, ‘There are no skipped item records'. Any records shown for ItemsSkippedinInventoryCount can be exported in either Excel or CSV format.
HRTL-4351 – Clarified Message for Invalid Date Selection in Dashboard
In previous versions, if you selected an invalid date range in the Dashboard, such as an ending date that precedes the starting date, the POS displayed unclear messages, ‘Error fetching widgets’ and ‘Dashboard is currently unavailable, please try again later’. With this release, the POS displays an informative message, ‘Start date must be less than or equal to End date’, so users understand what corrective action to take.
HRTL-4411 – Fixed Change Due Issue When Manually Adjusting Price or Quantity to Zero
In previous versions, if you removed taxes from a ticket and then either manually adjusted the item price or quantity to zero, the POS would erroneously reflect a change due amount equal to the original tax amount on the ticket. With this release, the POS reflects zeroes across the board in such instances as expected.
HRTL-4441 – Fixed Custom Branding Text Color Issues in Navigation Menus
In previous versions, the POS sometimes mishandled custom branding colors in navigation menus which caused text and backgrounds to display in incorrect colors. Impacted color settings include:
- Background Color
- Text Color
- Accent Color
These settings are found in the Custom Branding | Top Navigation section. With this release, the POS displays all navigation in the designated custom colors as expected.
