Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HR-4955 POS Applies Fixed Price Discounts to Duplicated Items
In previous versions, if you ordered an item, then applied a discount to the item, then duplicated the item, the POS may have failed to apply the discount to the duplicated item. This problem only occurred if you applied a discount with a fixed price. We have corrected this, and now if you duplicate an item with a fixed discount, the POS will duplicate the item properly with its discount.
You can set a discount to use fixed prices in the Discounts settings screen. In the Admin Console’s Main Menu, click account menu, then click discounts. In the discounts settings screen, if you select the Fixed Price check box, the POS will apply a fixed price to qualifying items. You can set the fixed price in the Amount box. In the POS, if you apply the discount to a qualifying item, the POS will reduce the price of the item to the fixed amount in the discount’s settings. The POS will only apply the discount to items with prices higher than the discount’s fixed price.
HR-7967 Server Checkout Report Lists Accurate Ticket Totals
In previous versions, the Server Checkout Report may have listed inaccurate ticket totals. In certain circumstances, if you pay paid a ticket with a credit card, then added a tip later, the POS may have miscalculated the ticket total in the Server Checkout Report. We have corrected this, and now the Server Checkout Report lists accurate totals for tickets.
HR-7970 Adding Tips to QR Code Gift Transactions
In previous versions, if your site uses the Heartland or PAX payment gateway, you may have encountered a problem with gift cards. In certain circumstances, if you paid a ticket with a gift card using a QR code scanner, the POS may not have allowed you to add a tip. In such cases, if you opened a ticket and scanned a gift card’s QR code, the POS would apply the payment properly. However, if you then attempted to add a tip to the transaction, the POS may not have applied the tip. We have corrected this, and now if you pay a ticket by scanning a gift cards QR code, the POS will then allow you to apply a tip to the transaction.
HR-8133 Thinkreservations Connecting Properly
In previous versions, if your site uses the Thinkreservations service, you may have encountered a problem. In certain circumstances, some locations were unable to connect to the Thinkreservations server. In such cases, Thinkreservations would receive an error ("Cannot convert undefined or null to object"). We have corrected this, and sites can now connect with the Thinkreservations service properly.
