What’s New
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-14131 Implement 45-Day Checkbox for MFA
With this release, we have implemented a Don’t ask me again for 45 days on this browser checkbox for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Checking this box will allow you to log into the POS without authenticating each time. Here are some important notes about this option:
- This option is ideal for locations with one user per station.
- The cookie/token will be invalidated when a user logs out.
- Users who utilize auto-logout may have to perform MFA more frequently.
- In multi-cashier settings, users will need to log in and out of the system to ensure each user is authenticated and has access to the system, which could require users to have to perform MFA multiple times.
For more about MFA, please refer to our MFA guide.
Updates
The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-13402 Fix Unauthorized Back Office Access
In previous versions, unauthorized users were sometimes able to log into the back office of the POS. This occurred for users logging in with roles that had no permissions assigned. We have addressed the underlying cause of this issue and user access is restricted according to role permissions as intended.
HRTL-13499 Fix ‘Force Minimum Deposit’ Dollar Amount Issue
In previous versions, if you attempted to set an amount for the Force Minimum Deposit in POS settings by selecting the $ toggle and entering the desired dollar amount, the value would revert to zero. We have corrected this, and dollar amounts save as expected.
HRTL-14393 Fix Scroll Issue When Adding New Customer to Sales Order
In previous versions, some merchants found that, when using Add Customer on a new sales order, they were unable to scroll once being returned to the sales order screen after the customer was added. In order to restore the scrolling functionality, they had to save the empty sales order to avoid losing the customer assignment and then refresh the page. With this release, scroll functionality behaves as expected in these scenarios.
HRTL-14394 Fix Location Dropdown on Purchasing Receipts Page
In previous versions, the location dropdown on the purchasing receipts page displayed only 10 locations. This prevented merchants with more than 10 locations from accessing all of their locations. With this release, the dropdown displays all locations as expected.
HRTL-14430 Fix Decimal Issue in Line Item Price Adjustment by Percent
In previous versions, when adjusting a line item price, if you attempted to enter a percentage containing a decimal point, the decimal point would disappear upon entering subsequent characters. For instance, if you were attempting to enter a 2.5% discount, the system accepted and displayed the decimal (as ‘2.’) until the 5 was entered, after which the decimal disappeared, resulting in the value being 25% instead of 2.5%. The only way to save the value with a decimal point was to insert it in between the digits after having entered all numbers. With this release, such values save as expected.
