The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
HRTL-4997 – Bixolon Label Printer Implementation for iOS
With this release, we have certified the Bixolon label printer for iOS implementation. For more information, please refer to our Bixolon Printer Setup Guide.
HRTL-4998 – Bixolon Label Printer Support Expansion
In recognition of fulfillment and supply chain issues, we investigated additional label printer manufacturer options and have expanded our support offerings to include the Bixolon SLP-DX220EG.

The following release notes detail the updates we have included in this release.
HRTL-159 – Fixed Shopify Sync of Items with Blank SKU
In previous versions, if you placed a Shopify order for an item with a blank SKU, after syncing the order, it would be reflected in Heartland with ‘prompt-price’ for its item number instead of using its actual item number. With this release, the sync sends the correct item number as expected.
HRTL-618 – Fixed Coupon Label on Sales | Tickets Page
We have fixed an issue that caused coupon amounts for some tickets to be erroneously reflected as promotions when viewing the ticket via the Sales | Tickets page. With this release, such coupons are reflected correctly on all pages.
HRTL-1432 – Removed Requirement Designation for Default Cost & Current Price Fields on ‘Edit Grid’ Page
In previous versions, the Default Cost and Current Price fields on the Edit Grid page displayed with the requirement indicator. Since these fields are no longer required so as to allow for per-item pricing, we have removed the requirement indicator.
HRTL-2280 – Fixed ‘No Matches Found’ When Item Number Contains ‘+’
In previous versions, if you attempted to filter items by item number and used an existing item number containing a + (for example, STOCK+02037), the POS would indicate ‘No matches found’. This was true of any item numbers that contained a +. With this release, the POS finds matching items as expected.
HRTL-3666 – Fixed Issue with Multiple Concurrently Running Instances of HRC
In previous versions, it was possible to have multiple concurrently running instances of Heartland Retail Connect (HRC). Since this can result in unforeseen errors, with this release, the system now checks for existing instances of HRC before launching. If it detects that HRC is already running, it displays a message to that effect.
HRTL-4301 – Enhance ‘Note’ Text Field Expansion Behavior
In previous versions, the POS allowed users to increase the size of the Note text field in Inventory Adjustments so that it overlapped with the Save button and/or to extended beyond the edge of the display. For a better user experience, with this release, the POS allows expansion only within the limits of the display width and does not allow overlap with the Save button.
HRTL-4303 – Enhance Alignment of Buttons on No Item Found Modal
With this release, we have enhanced the alignment of the Find and existing item and Create new item buttons that display when an item search finds no matching items.

HRTL-5004 – Use Company Name on Text Receipts
In previous versions, text receipts reflected the tenant subdomain name instead of company name. Since this may have been confusing to customers, with this release, such receipts will reflect the company name instead of the tenant subdomain name.
